We are delighted about the great rating of the Falstaff team for our wines. A real confirmation for the wonderful work we are allowed to do. The words of praise fill us with pride and motivate us. Falstaff attests „a good collection“ of wines. Read for yourself:
A good collection is presented by farm manager Jürgen Kerl for his debut. Silvaner is convincing as a fresh sparkling wine, but even more so as a Réserve from the terraces, a full-bodied, compact wine with ripe sweet fruit. The 2020 Riesling is spicy, fresh and straightforward, the 2019 from the terraces shows fine spice and ripe fruit, is full-bodied and powerful, has good structure and fine sweet fruit. The 2020 barrel cuvée of Müller-Thurgau, Riesling and Silvaner is spicy and penetrating, fresh, clear and gripping. The red segment is led by the Réserve-Portugieser from the 2018 vintage, which shows intense fruit and smoky notes on the nose, has fullness and power, ripe fruit, good structure and grip. The barrique-aged Pinot Noir from the same vintage is also very good; it is smoky, pure, fresh and gripping. | Falstaff
