Wine description: The grapes for this wine grow on the vineyards surrounding the Ingelfinger Fass. The wine is of a pale yellow with a greenish tinge. Grown on Triassic limestone, its flavour is fruity and delicate. It tastes fresh, rich and spicy. The mild acid makes it very smooth.

Recommendation: This wine should be consumed young. Thus it goes with lightly aromatic fish and meat dishes.

Recommendation: This wine goes especially well with summer salads and light dishes. It accompanies poultry in white sauce, quiche or hearty tarte flambée.

Wine description: This Riesling grows on the steep slopes of our terraced vineyards below the castle ruins of Lichteneck. It owes its fresh, mineral taste to our Hohenlohe Triassic limestone. The subtle aroma of lemon, grapefruit and green apples combine with a pleasantly fresh acidity.

Recommendation: An ideal partner for starters, salads and white meat, but also for Asian-style dishes.

Wine description: Our first Riesling Spätlese (late harvest) derives from the cross terraced vineyards below the castle ruins of Lichteneck. The grapes were harvested by hand when they were fully ripened two weeks after the main harvest. The fermentation in the steel tank was interrupted at the right time to achieve its fine and natural fruity sweetness. The wine shimmers bright yellow and smells of peaches, honey and apricots. It tastes pleasantly fruity, sweet and complex with an elegant acidity.

Wine description: These vines grow on our terraced vinyards below the castle ruins of Lichteneck. The grapes ripen on extremely steep slopes of rocky triassic limestone. Our Silvaner perfectly reflects their „terroir“. They combine earthy flavours and subtle, fruity aroma with hints of melon, pear and hay.

Recommendation: This Silvaner wonderfully partners fish, poultry and asparagus as well as starters. It also makes a delicious aperitif.

Wine description: An exceptional wine from our terraced vineyard Lichteneck. A part of this Silvaner was fermented and matured seven months in an oak barrel made from Vosges Oak. Our blend with the extra ripe, yield-reduced Silvaner from the stainless steel tank is an
expressive and extravagant wine with a subtle wood aroma.

Recommendation: This powerful taste goes wonderfully with mussels, sea food and freshwater fish. You can also enjoy it with vegetables and of course fine veal dishes and mild cheeses.

Wine description: We harvested golden yellow Silvaner grapes in our terraced vineyards below the castle ruins Lichteneck. This excellent wine with more than 100° Oechsle (unit for measuring the sugar content) was partly fermented in stainless steel tanks and partly in barrique barrels. Blending both wines resulted in a complex, expressive wine which tastes of ripe fruit.

Recommendation: It wonderfully partners veal, grilled or fried fish, strong poultry dishes or mild cheeses.

Wine description: The 240 million year old sea lily Encrinus liliiformis depicted on the label was the fossil of the year 2019. Like Silvaner, its name can be considered synonymous with Triassic limestone. The vineyards in Hohenlohe owe their special taste to the high mineral content of the Kochertal slopes.
The golden yellow Silvaner grapes were harvested in our terraced vineyards below the castle ruins of Lichteneck. The juice was fermented in two year old barrels of French Cher oak and left with natural fruit sweetness. It is elegant, pleasantly sweet, nutty with vivid acidity and subtle hints of wood. An exceptional Silvaner with a lingering taste.

Wine description: Our Schwarzriesling grows in the vineyard above the Ingelfinger Fass. Pleasant soft taste and berry aroma. Silky finish on the palate, juicy and creamy.

Recommendation: It perfectly accompanies pork or lamb dishes and is excellent with mild cheese. A wonderful wine to drink and enjoy in the evening. It is one of the favourite wines of our founder and wine lover Fritz Müller.

Recommendation: This wine is excellent with stewed pork or beef, with duck breast or venison dishes from the oven.

Recommendation: Pinot noir goes wonderfully with almost all meat courses and of course with pasta, smoked ham or ripe hard cheese.

A complex Pinot Noir with a dark and ripe fruit, slight taste of wood and impressingly fine tannins.
